Sinossi
Sam e Jules sono amiche da sempre e l'estate prima dell'ultimo anno del liceo discutono il proprio futuro, sognano di andare all'università o di scegliere il duro cammino per diventare ballerine professioniste. Comunque sia, sono pronte a vivere questa esperienza insieme, condividendo trionfi e lacrime. Non sono pronte però al destino che è già dietro l'angolo: Jules scopre di avere un tumore. Inizia così un nuovo capitolo della loro esistenza che le costringe a scoprire nuove cose di sé e dell'altra, che rischia di farle smarrire ma finisce per confermare la forza della loro amicizia. What do you do when you best friend is dying? -- This was a GREAT book...it manages to break your heart, mend it, and break it again. Told in a way that makes you both frustrated and sad at the same time, it’s one of those reads you can help but love in a terrible way...:)
I feel bad rating this book so low. It's such a depressing subject, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I got teary towards the end.
