E come se non bastasse, un pericoloso assassino, completamente pazzo, non vede l'ora di metterle le mani addosso e ridurla in fin di vita.Cos'ha di speciale questo romanzo? Tutto. È diverso da ogni altro thriller, così come la sua eroina non somiglia a nessuna detective letteraria: non è particolarmente depressa né matta, ma è una persona normale alle prese con un mestiere assolutamente fuori dal normale. Un mestiere per cui non sembra affatto tagliata, ma che affronta con innegabile coraggio e faccia tosta, con un bel po di incoscienza e con uno straordinario, irresistibile, formidabile senso dell'umorismo. Impossibile smettere di leggere, impossibile staccarsi da lei.

Sometimes you just need to read a book like this. With mediocre writing and a plot as see-through as Grandma's underpants, it will take your mind off life's more substantial material for a while.
