I would have found this book to be a great home garden inspiration if it weren’t for its very uncomfortable overlooking of human rights. I really liked the first half of this book which gave advice on what kind of pots to choose for each kind of veg or flower. A beautifully made book, perhaps better for its recipes than its gardening information.

First of all, I really loved how aesthetically pleasing Bertelsen makes container gardening look. If I took nothing else away from this book, it would be how to arrange containers and supports in such a way that vegetables and fruits look as attractive as flowering annuals.
