Sinossi

Leggi tutto

Leggi tutto
I read this to keep my brain from falling down rabbit holes of negativity. Wonderful assistance for those of us out of the hole but who wish to stay free. :)
Útil para terapeutas e pacientes. Fácil leitura e cientificamente acurado.
I found this book very helpful. It was split into very helpful chapters from how to handle hopelessness, self-criticism, not feeling 'good enough', building your motivation, overcoming indecision, stopping yourself from ruminating, making your friendships more rewarding, empowering your intimate rel Leggi tutto
Robert Leahy wrote this book in a way in which I wish people would treat their suffering friends. I felt understood, which is perhaps the biggest compliment if you've ever gone though a rough patch yourself (like I have). Explanatory and never judgmental, yet not overly accepting of the way life of
Very good book on how to change your thinking and way of acting when depressed. To act 'as if' you are better and to begin habits that will help you get out of the dark funk.
A far better read than expected. I was familiar with most of the concepts, but I was surprised to see how much more I was still lacking. It was nice to see all of them beautifully put together.
