Sinossi

Aki szereti a romantikus regényeket, ne figyeljen ide. Szerintem igen. Jártam Camargue tényleg különleges vidékén, és szívesebben o Leggi tutto

One of the author's best works, I think. I found it believable and uplifting, especially because it shows that during World War II not all Germans were cruel, in fact they could be unbelievably kind. I also appreciated the way the autistic boy and adult was pictured - a truly lovable human being and Leggi tutto

Vintage Morpugo! Loved every chapter, every character, and after all the trials and tribulations of wartime France, a happy ending. A splendid binge-read. OK, I'm somewhat older than the "9-plus" age groups it is intended for, but I'll read anything Morpugo writes. His "Private Peaceful" helped me t Leggi tutto
