Sinossi

Published in the early 1900s as part of a collection of stories, H.P. Lovecraft felt that Algernon Blackwood’s The Willows was simply the greatest tale of the supernatural in English literature. It is a novella, and has a bare minimum of dialog between the narrator and his good friend, the Swede. It Leggi tutto

A very special story, unfortunately there is no italian version and the English used by Blackwood has not been for me really of immediate and easy understanding( many words by now obsolete). What I love about Blackwood is his ability to get you into a psychological strain during the reading that very Leggi tutto
