Sinossi

A very good book about mindfulness. It introduces you to the topic very easily and in an understandable way. This book in particular presents mindfulness for people who work in creative sectors. And what I found best, is that all the methodology is sustained by scientific research and data, as well
Putting in the work Mindfulness for creativity, it really provided the tools to develop creativity, the more you practise the better you get. A good introduction to mindfulness. This was a gift from a friend who knows me to be creative (artistic), but this book is about having a creative approach to everyday matters. It is a good way to get into mindfulness though.
Good but annoyingly familiar There's a lot to like in this book but there is also a big overlap with another Mindfulness book by Mark Williams and Danny Penman which I had already read. The links to audio are also unusable if you're reading this on an android phone.
My rating is perhaps as much for the concept as the content of this book. However, the concepts are simply and clearly explained, and are backed up with a good mix of science, and feedback from previous participants in the exercises discussed.
Brilliant, simple program. Very encouraging. One of the better ones I've read. No fluff, no ego from the writer. Really, really good and helpful. Nothing overly complicated or intricate . I feel much more present and am more capable of handling stress since this book

Having read two out of three of Danny Penman mindfulness books, the other one being, “Mindfulness: A practical Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World”, I personally found the “Mindfulness for creativity” more helpful. I think this was because I much preferred the meditations in this book compared Leggi tutto
