This book is uncanny! This is a reference book, part of a series, focusing on some of the heroes and teams of Marvel Comics. PROTECTING THOSE WHO FEARED THEM! I got this book as a Xmas gift because I love the X-Men. This is obviously a small book but it is perfect someone that wants just a skimming of the X-Men history. This book does give some details but it doesn't give an huge in depth look at the creation of the X-Men the way a much larger book would
Most of the focus here is on the “new” X-Men, along with the array of spinoffs and overlapping titles. Considering the vast array of modern material to cram into this overview, Thomas meets his goal quite handily.
