Sinossi

My main feeling about this book: Why did this book need to be made? This book is a collage of silly symbols to illustrate gender differences, ie. trite stereotypes. It's meant to be comedic but this kind of lowbrow humor is nothing new. It's just the same exaggerated gender stereotypes you've a mill Leggi tutto
If you want a pictorial book on the trite stereotypes about women and men, this is it. Some, especially towards the end of the book, really carry a message and hit the nail on its head (double standards, house chores, leadership, same sex couples and their social presence etc.), yet many are beyond
Pictorial descriptions of the differences between men and women and how they think. Starts out humorous and light and the last several are very important, yet convicting gender-stereotypes. clever way for Liu to bring in her audience and then make an important statement about gender-- through pictur Leggi tutto
An hysterical visualization of the simple to hair scratching differences between the sexes. Light read that produces a good laugh or at least some giggles
Fun. And true.
