This is one of those picture books I feel is better for adults than for children. It’s abstract and nostalgic, something children wouldn’t necessarily relate to without more life behind them. Beautifully illustrated in her strange and evocative way.

At the end my 4-yo declared she didn’t like this book because it didn’t make any sense. Felt like a better fit for adults than for young readers.
Beautiful illustration in here. Talks about the fleeting nature of happiness and how our relationship with it changes as the context and times of our lives change. One of my favorite things: a children's book definitely written with adults in mind.
O que é essa coisa que passa por nós, frequentemente de forma discreta, e à qual às vezes fechamos a porta, dura alguns momentos e não a conseguimos ver? Essa coisa inexplicável e fugaz tão bem descrita neste pequeno grande livro.
The illustration is inspirational,but the writing is a little bit obscure.
