What I admire about this novel is that Leavitt explores the significance in mundane details of the characters' lives. A beautifully written book that gives us a glimpse into a world of gay men in 1980's New York. Wonderfully written and definitely a book I would recommend to any gay man who wants to learn about his history. Another wonderful David Leavitt read.
