I’m torn on how to review without being mean. I did check the author bio with the idea that if The Family Guest was a debut novel, I could indeed be most kind and encourage the author to keep going. This thriller definitely had its edge of your seat moments. Many times though it reminded me of a lifetime movie. It was very soapy and somewhat predictable. Some of the characters’ actions were frustrating. Parts were over the top and were more enjoyable if you left common sense out of it. All in a Leggi tutto

Oh my gosh!!!! Absolute 5 stars, no hesitation! One of the best thrillers I've read recently, couldn't put it down, and it was also so well written and the story was genius, such a deep and fascinating mystery with lots of layers!
