I would really love to see Oima do a horror manga. She's said she wants to do every genre, and she's proven she doesn't shy away from gore (that one weirdly censored panel of Mimori's severed neck aside). TYE has had plenty of elements that could lean toward horror, but it's never gone all the way,
I’m using this book to mark the end of me reading all 24 volumes of this manga since 2021. It was so beautiful! I wish the end hadn’t felt so fast but it also ended exactly as I predicted it would back in 2022 so I’m fairly satisfied.
