This story was fast paced and fun, albeit slightly less believable than the first installment. It was well written, with some thinly veiled adult humour once again. It was a pity that two of the original characters didn't appear in this one; he probably planned to include them in a third novel but a Leggi tutto

A distinct improvement on Thunderbolt's waxwork. This is a delightful children's novel, well worked out and with some very funny scenes. Pullman could probably have written dozens of books of the adventures of Benny, Thunderbolt, the Peretti twins and the rest, if he hadn't gone on to even better th Leggi tutto
