Per tutta la vita Jani ha sognato l'altrove. hi I've been waiting to 5 star this book since 2017! obviously biased but the version I read back then was amazing--dark, luxuriant, enchanting and everything you could wish for in a fantasy.
This was exactly the kind of magical fun I want from YA fantasy, albeit with a dark side. "Like Caraval" gets overused, but in this case I think it genuinely fits the vibes of the book.
