Terry Deary is one of those authors that has a wicked sense of humour that can make history both hilarious and interesting. A decent pastime with several unknown facts about Romans especially in the rottenest way. I enjoyed reading it in a kiddo way and was able to learn many surprising truths about the Romans.
This book was amazing filled with jokes and gory things but it is all true. Great for history fans. Some bits I would not recommend for squeamish people as it was gruesome but it all really happened in roman times. If you like the show then you will love this.
