I'm among the billions of fans of HCB's street photography - really his creation of an entirely new artistic genre. But at the core I'm more of a people photographer than a street guy, as much as I love the rush of shooting street. This collection of Henri's portraits - what's the best term here? -
Fantastic black-and-white portraits, many of famous artists and writers (mostly French).
I'm more familiar of this photographers informal candid street photography and I like that better also, but here are memorable images here too.

Someone recommended this to me after seeing a similar style in my photography and Bresson's photography. I enjoyed it.
