A overall decent story one I liked better with the last with Tom having to be clever to beat the bird and not just use force showing the beast are more dangerous however I don’t like the addition of a character from a book which isn’t part of the main series. This book was very formulaic and predictable. It did have some adventure and action scenes, but there wasn't much suspense.
