Easy to read, quick overview of the basics, and good format (letting you draw directly in the book.) The exercises were varied and useful, but I feel like I’ve done a lot of them before, even with the exact same examples/illustrations. Maybe all drawing teachers have the same furniture? This is a very good book for beginners. It has a lot of exercises and an introduction of basic art terms for observational drawing. I just wanted more information about the concepts and a little about creativity and how to use shapes for that, but I also understand that this was foccused on realism
still don't feel like I can draw, but I learned a bunch.
Boken er veldig bra for nybegynnere, men noen av oppgavene er vanskelige. Mulig det bare er meg.
First read through is inspiring. Now for a slower pace and lots of drawing.
