Sinossi

Using Brentano's analogy to music our perception of the streaming moment of consciousness in time is in relation to memory which is where the past streaming consciousness is turned into an object of present consciousness much like the melody is informed by the present note against the very recent me Leggi tutto

Husserl made a very difficult subject as time more clear and made a original way through a phenomenology of time. Very difficult work but it is necessary when you want to know something about temporal objects like music or speech...
Incredible text. For anyone interested in phenomenology this is a MUST READ. This is where it all began. The beautiful conceptions of temporality; they are rooted here. And seeing the genesis of these ideas in this text was a wonderful experience.
In Logische Untersuchungen , Husserl was knowingly already operating at certain level of abstraction - from Appendix XII here: Thus it is understood why I could identify sensing and the content of sensation in the Logical Investigations. If I moved within the boundaries of internal consciousness, then Leggi tutto
Time to Husserl is not linear, and that is not to say that that it exists in a different kind of continuity on the same Cartesian formalism —no —Husserl does away with that conception of abstract time in principle. The phenomenology of time would be strictly characterize time by the experience of it Leggi tutto
