Buffy should’ve ended up with Spike. They were perfect together. Great communication, devotion, chemistry. They didn’t even provide a good reason for the break up. “We didn’t work us couple”? Buffy season 12 Buffy goes threw a lot in these comics, I'm so glad I read them. I found the last story in this graphic novel very cute! I need to read more school age buffy.
As this hard cover collects Buffy: Giles and Buffy season 12 I’ll split the reviews. Giles: Girl Blue. Sadly Giles is by far the worst written story from the Dark Horse era of Buffy titles. This is the final "season" of the Buffy comics that spun off of the tv series after it ended. It took awhile for me to finally get around to this one because my local bookstore never seemed to have a copy when it was originally released and I never bothered to ask them to special order it for me. Half the book consists of a Giles solo limited series. This is some of the most unreadable trash I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. The actual Buffy season 12 is fine in that it gives the sense of an ending, but is otherwise fairly unremarkable and leans heavily on cheap nostalgia.
