Cinque storie animate da fantasmi, folletti e fate, che della festività sacra propongono diverse interpretazioni, sottolineandone, di volta in volta, la giocosità, la solitudine, le miserie dell'infanzia, l'aspetto soprannaturale o di satira sociale.
