Partendo dal noto "effetto farfalla" - per il quale il battito delle ali di una farfalla a Pechino può scatenare un uragano a New York - James Gleick ripercorre la nascita e lo sviluppo della rivoluzionaria teoria del caos. Se per la scienza tradizionale l'aspetto irregolare della natura è sempre stato un rompicapo, a partire dagli anni Settanta alcuni studiosi iniziano a sperimentare una via per orientarsi nel disordine, scoprendo connessioni inaspettate tra il battito cardiaco e le migrazioni degli animali, tra gli errori del computer e le oscillazioni dei prezzi. الكتاب علمي بحت وهذا النوع من الكتب يحتاج للصبر ثم الصبر خاصة للعوام أمثالي أما أصحاب الاختصاص فلهم هدف محدد يعرفونه قبل قراءة الكتاب المعلومات مهمة ولكن المؤلف وكأنه يشعر بأن كل ما يقوله يحتاج للمزيد لفهم أكثر فأطال وأسهب في بعض النقاط لحد يوصل القارئ لرغبة متكررة لترك الكتاب أحيانا ولكن بالمجمل الك Leggi tutto
