It's rare to see a children's picture book that receives a sequel with continuity. In fact, I would go so far as to say that if one hasn't read The Gruffalo, one would not get anywhere near as much out of this one. So, congratulations to the creators as that is fairly unique. This is another great book of the series my children absolutely loved. There is the little gruffalo this time who discovers how scary the little mouse is. Her father warned her about the Big Bad Mouse, but she still went to the forest to see how the mouse looks like. Obviously the mouse was neither
