Ate this up like a snickers bar. The shadow wielding, morally gray, tortured soul MMC just doesn’t get old. Gimme fourteen of ‘em right now. Plus, this one had a bit of a Twilight flair that I enjoyed.

I did have a lot of fun with it but I can't ignore some of the issues I had with it especially in the first 65% of the book. I did like the concept and plot as an overall but the way it was executed felt chaotic to me. To me it came across as we're just thrown into the story. I had some trouble get

DNF @32%-FRTCI've been hearing about this book NON- STOP in many of my book groups. High, high praise for it. The first few chapters - the writing though? Might Will likely trash this book in my review... idk. Still working on this one.
