"I ponti di Madison County" è la storia di Robert Kincaid, fotografo di fama, e Francesca Johnson, moglie di un agricoltore. Kincaid, singolare, quasi mistico viaggiatore dei deserti asiatici, di fiumi lontani, di antiche città, è un uomo che quasi non appartiene al suo tempo. I read this book when it came out along with millions of other folks. The set up and motivation for the story was done quickly and economically and even though there was an affair involved we accepted the motivation as to why. Which is tough to do.
