3.75 - I was only able to read this as I knew Kim survived and has lived a fulfilling life. A harrowing but beautiful tale. A little too heavy on the religious content which became a bit repetitive (especially for an agnostic).
The photo on the cover of this book is actually a very famous picture, yet I knew very little about the Vietnam war prior to reading about this book. I listened to this on Audible. It was a 9hour listen & I got through it in less than 3 days, I was hooked on every word. Such a powerful life story & so beautifully written.
