I enjoyed reading this so much with my kids. The expressions on my son's face were hysterical, especially when we got to the third "book in the book." As soon as we finished they made me go back and read it again. It was fun watching them go through and make sense of it all.

Four stars for the cool, clever metafictional concept. Originally published in France.

Kids are going to love this one! Three books nestled into one! Lots of potential here with classroom application too! I think older kids would enjoy the challenge of thinking through how they could create something similar.
