Ma se i sei fuorilegge hanno una certezza è questa: dopo tutte le fughe rocambolesche, gli scampati pericoli, le sofferenze e le inevitabili batoste che hanno dovuto affrontare insieme, troveranno comunque il modo di rimanere in piedi. E forse di vincerla, in qualche modo, questa guerra, grazie alle rivoltelle di Jesper, al cervellone di Kaz, alla verve di Nina, all'abilità di Inej, al genio di Wylan e alla forza di Matthias. Una guerra che per loro significa una possibilità di vendetta e redenzione e che sarà decisiva per il destino del mondo Grisha.
