Sono passati pochi mesi da quando Pip Fitz-Amobi ha risolto il suo ultimo caso, che ancora le toglie il sonno, ed ecco che si ritrova costretta a indagare di nuovo. Uno stalker le manda continuamente messaggi di velata minaccia, ma ancora una volta la polizia non dà peso alle sue segnalazioni e sceglie di non intervenire. Indagando come ha imparato a fare, non ci mette molto a scoprire delle analogie tra il suo stalker e un serial killer locale responsabile di ben cinque omicidi alcuni anni prima. Stavolta è la sua vita a essere in pericolo, e per salvarsi Pip dovrà lottare come non ha mai fatto prima, scegliendo di percorrere una strada che non avrebbe mai creduto possibile...

To be fair, As Good As Dead wasn't bad. But up till now, this has been my favorite YA mystery series for very specific reasons.
