Sinossi
Lindsay Boxer è tornata in servizio, dopo una pausa forzata dovuta a un’inchiesta sul suo operato durante una difficile indagine. In una San Francisco ricca di fascino ha ritrovato le sue amiche, le Donne del Club Omicidi, nel quale è entrata di recente anche la giovane e brillante avvocatessa Yuki Castellano. E proprio Yuki è al centro dei nuovo mistero: sua madre, dopo un intervento chirurgico apparentemente banale, muore in uno dei più importanti ospedali della città. C’è qualcosa di sospetto e di sinistro nella mancanza di collaborazione da parte del personale ospedaliero che Lindsay e Yuki devono affrontare quando vogliono far luce sull’accaduto. Once again, Patterson created a great novel that I just couldn't put down. Not the best, but clearly toward the top of the list with the Women's Murder Club Series.
