Sinossi
Sex on the Beach #2
«L’ho conquistata, naturalmente.

Jennifer Probst's Beyond Me was my favourite story in the Sex on the Beach series last year. I loved Quinn and James, they were complete opposites but they brought the best out in each other and they made a great couple. The story was a novella so the romance happened fairly fast but I thoroughly en Leggi tutto
ARC provided by author in exchange of honest review [image error] Chasing Me by Jennifer Probst picks off where it last left off on Beyond Me. We are reunited with James and Quinn as they adjust to their new life back in Chicago. With Quinn set on her goals and ambition with school and work, Jame
I quite enjoyed this continuation of James and Quinn's story, begun in Beyond Me (which ended on a happy note) as they adjust to couplehood and living in Chicago. They are both pursuing careers, and while Quinn is moving places James is still struggling with his art classes and his own internal know Leggi tutto
In this surprising conclusion to her first book, James and Quinn are trying to make their one week vacation relationship work in the real world. James has followed Quinn to her native Chicago and is trying to live life without his million dollar trust fund. He has enrolled in art school, and Quinn i Leggi tutto
In Chasing Me Quinn and James are trying to find their way as a couple in Chicago. Quinn is working hard to accomplish the goals she has set and James is learning to become the man he now wants to be. I loved seeing James change into this new man, not wanting to fall back on his parents and his trus Leggi tutto
Such a great story! I loved the first book but glad this was a continuation. It's nice to read a story that shows you need to put work into getting your happy ending. I love how there are struggles by both characters that they need to overcome. Jennifer shows the "growing"up a young love needs to do Leggi tutto
Although I do understand that this book is the second installment in a series, I simply cannot say that I would be interested in reading the first book. This tragically dramatic, immature romance was quite predictable and redundant. It becomes very clear from the beginning of the novel that there is Leggi tutto
The continuation of the story of Quinn and James was not an easy one on the two of them. James has done a complete 180 in his life and Quinn is still pursuing her goals and almost zen like in her strive to become something great. For someone who wants to become a social worker, I was a bit confused
