For the second year in a row, I am starting off with a kid’s story that I missed as a kid. Fun new tradition.

This book was OK. It is aimed at younger children, lower KS1 I'd say. It shows that anyone can kiss anyone, and that it doesn't matter what your size, who you are or where you live. I actually wanted to like this book more than I ended up liking it. One thing the books gets right is the incredibly cute illustrations. I wasn't really too keen on the rhyme or the story itself. The worms kissing and forming a heart was aaadooorrable!! We are currently rereading all the kids books we own to see which to keep and which to donate.

Another book from the publisher of ‘Dogs don’t do Ballet’ (Simon and Schuster) and the design features are of the same fabulous quality – beautiful paper, stunning illustration and extras such as a prettily patterned inside spread. This is a brilliant story to engage young children with. As the teacher reading it you could exaggerate kissing noises and get the children to copy you. I think they would find it incredibly funny and enjoyable. The story questions whether specific animals like to kiss, or how in fact they are able

The biggest kiss is a simple children's book that doesn't seem to have a rythym to the rhyme. The rhymes don't match up at times and the flow is awkward. The ending is pretty cute, but overall I'm not too crazy about this book. Both my son and toddler don't seem to have much interest in it either. W Leggi tutto

A celebration of kisses showcasing animals big and small in sweet moments. Great read aloud for PreK-2 with sweet pictures that reminded me of the illustrations on greeting cards.
