Non è un caso che la dueruote sia sempre più protagonista delle mobilitazioni di massa per la giustizia sociale, la sostenibilità e il diritto a vivere in città emancipate dall’aggressività delle automobili.
Un quadro caleidoscopico su un’invenzione «aerea» che ispira e migliora le nostre vite, rappresentando la quintessenza della libertà e – molto probabilmente – anche la soluzione più facile e immediata per affrontare l’emergenza climatica.

The editor must have thought it wasn't worth the battle. This is not "the history and mystery of the bicycle,", it's a random collection of essays that each mention a bicycle. Some of this I knew (sections about suffrage), some things were new to me and interesting (for example, the stuff about Dunlop Tires), but for the most part it was simply pleasant reading, like reading a series of magazine articles. It’s hard to describe it, but close enough to call it a collection of wide-ranging essays about the bicycle’s history and role in modern day societies.
