Il risultato è un viaggio nella mente di una donna che potrebbe essere tutte le donne, se avessero il coraggio di dar voce alla propria emancipazione sessuale e di pensiero. Ed è un viaggio che, se da un lato fa ridere fino alle lacrime, dall'altro tocca il cuore del lettore affrontando da una prospettiva originalissima temi come la crisi matrimoniale, il rapporto con i figli, il tradimento, la menopausa e l'umano, umanissimo desiderio di sentirsi liberi e amati.

weird books are sooooooo back i loved this genuinely funny with so many one-liner zingers, but also really interesting commentary on parenting, monogamy, the institution of marriage, pooled wisdom, menopause, and sexuality miranda july is the master
I think this is my favorite thing she has made. Her work always makes me feel like I’m allowed to exist.
