I think this was meant to be a story about parents spending too much time on their phones and not noticing their children need attention, care, and are far more interesting than anything their will see on their phone. A heart wrenching story of a mother and her child that go for some 'mummy time' at the park, yet the mother is distracted the entire time with a conversation on the phone. This story shows the importance of living in the moment without being distracted by mobile phones.
The mother wants to spend dedicated time with her baby then spends the whole park visit on the phone (the text is her conversation and is cleverly linked to what the baby gets up to). Love this story
Made me sad, made me think. Maybe more a book on parenting than a children’s book though?
