Molti sono i collegamenti e le affinità tra la storia degli arabi e quella dei palestinesi, così come si sono definiti nel secolo scorso. Damn, really should’ve read this before that Thomas Friedman crap. But seriously, this is a good place to start. It’s clear, factual and doesn’t waffle. Obviously a bit dated - but the question still goes unanswered.
Firstly I have to say that while one does not need a background of the political history, wars, peace meetings involving Palestine, knowledge of them would be helpful because Said will mention them quite often in a few places.
