A fast paced read with some nail biting moments. You get all of the sound effects of shoes squeaking on the floor (Kweek! Matsumoto's cartooning is masterful and his grip on characters sublime.

You have Smile and then you have all the other table tennis players. Peco is determined, wanting to be the best, but he's not nearly as obsessed as some of the others.
