È una sera di fine estate. L’imperatore della gioia è grande romanzo che racconta la solitudine e lo smarrimento, ma anche il coraggio e le speranze di chi vive ai margini del sogno americano, le ferite dell’anima collettiva che cerca di trovare la strada verso la salvezza e la rinascita.
