The first thing I noticed about this book was how beautiful the illustrations were. Each page is filled with vivid colors and detailed depictions of the characters. I have never heard of this folktale before so I was captivated with the story line and its unexpected ending. The children I read to lo Leggi tutto

I really enjoyed this. An emperor has no heir he can pass his kingdom down to, so he looks for one. Children all get seeds, but Peng can't get his to grow. His parents encourage him to see the emperor with the other children and be honest. I loved the pictures and the moral.

Very cute, I’ve heard this folktale before but I enjoyed the artwork, it is a Beehive 2025 awarded book and I wanted to check it out. Illustrations are very cute. Takeaway Always be trustful and you will find things work out for you.

I have read this story somewhere before, but it was nice to see it again. I loved the illustrations that brought the message of the story to life. Great lesson for all to learn.
