Well I thought it would be difficult to make another book as good as the The Girl with the Pearl Earring which was superb. Don’t get me wrong this was still a great book. From the creative narration to the taste of the end of Victorian England, this was a great story that was easy to read, yet still gave you things to think about when the book was done... I may need to go back and read Chevalier's first book now. My favorite read this month! (Reviewed 2/12/09)
