Sinossi

Funny story: I was out in public reading this book and a stranger asked "whatcha reading?" I held up the book's cover, with its very aggressive title, and uttered "uhhh..." Needless to say, the stranger was taken back a bit. Fortunately, I have no regrets about devouring Damn Them All in public. This Leggi tutto
There's this phenomenon in comics, where an author will work on a licensed or for hire book, do well in it, and then a few years after they leave that book they come out with a creator owned series suspiciously similar to the previous corporate book with the serial numbers filed off. This is, quite
Not sure if I enjoyed this or never got any of it. Clearly this is Spurrier using ideas he had for hellblazer, and it's VERY British at times, but there's juuuusssttt enough here I can latch onto to finish it and find merit in the plot. It's esoteric at times, for sure, as it deals with demons and t Leggi tutto
This is John Constantine Hellblazer done well. The cosmology of this world is bleak, nihilistic, and audacious -- the view of magic and its price is executed brilliantly.
