2 1/2 stars. Very fast-paced, compulsively-readable and, ultimately, ridiculous. I'm not even sure how to organize my thoughts on this book. Did I enjoy it? I must have. First half was 3 stars, second half bumped it down to 1 star for relying on a heavy-handed and cheap plot twist and turning into a convoluted and melodramatic soap opera.
