I've wanted to see more of Maier's color work since I saw a few color prints at the Chicago Cultural Center years ago. Now the lawsuits are settled, so her later work can finally be published. Vivian Maier had a good eye. She made really strong photographs and left behind a ton of great images. I feel that a problem of her legacy however, is that she did not edit them herself and a great deal of what is being introduced to the public is frankly not that good.
