Nove mesi dopo la morte della madre Pippa – una pittrice affermata – le gemelle Sylvie e Cassia iniziano ad avere quello che Alfie, il padre, liquida subito come un semplice incubo ricorrente: ogni notte lo svegliano sostenendo che c’è qualcuno nella loro camera.
