Shesheshen è una mutaforma, che risiede felicemente come un grumo amorfo sul fondo di un maniero in rovina. This started off so good and yet.... In a Nutshell: A quirky fantasy-horror-sapphic-romance with a shapeshifting monster as the main character. Not my usual kind of read, but I found the concept interesting, and thankfully, the book mostly lived up to the potential. 3.5 this was very fun. i love the idea of cozy horror and Shesheshen was such an interesting character. but i think this would have worked better as a novella. it dragged on a lot
What a wild ride! I never knew what would happen next. Dying for more monstrous main characters.
An utter delight from start to finish. I can't recommend this enough! Shesheshen is fabulously alien and monstrous, and she never loses that even as she gains an understanding of love and empathy. i actually think it is a big pussy move to give your eldritch horror a moral compass. i think shesheshen should have been way nastier. i felt like homily didn’t really have much of a personality, and i also struggled with her family being villainous in such an overwrought manner. this story definitel Leggi tutto
