Sinossi
Dodici anni dopo il loro ultimo incontro, Nick e Justine, amici fin dai tempi dell'infanzia, si rivedono per caso tra le bancarelle del mercato coperto di Alexandria Park. Ventisei anni, la ragazza ha un'allergia conclamata per gli errori di ortografia e sogna di diventare giornalista; lui è un brillante attore di teatro, ventisettenne, con le tasche irrimediabilmente troppo vuote. Ma è anche, come Justine viene a sapere con sorpresa, un avido lettore dell'oroscopo pubblicato sulle pagine del mensile "Alexandria Park Star", la rivista per la quale Justine lavora: crede sul serio alle parole enigmatiche di quella breve colonna ed è questo a farle scattare nella testa un'idea audace: manomettere le previsioni astrologiche, seminando tra le righe velati suggerimenti che "aiutino" Nick a spostare lo sguardo su di lei. Nick tuttavia non è certo il solo ad affidarsi alle indicazioni bisbigliate dalle stelle. Ed è così che gli oroscopi truccati da Justine finiscono per cambiare anche i destini di altre persone, regalandoci una commedia affollata di vite stralunate che a un certo punto si ritrovano a convergere grazie a un'energia invisibile e misteriosa.
