La Terra è stata invasa dagli xenomorfi e per l'umanità sembra non ci siano speranze di sopravvivenza. Ma questo non significa che si debba lasciare il nostro pianeta in balìa degli Alien. Ripley ha un piano: vuole andare su quello che viene ritenuto il pianeta d'origine degli xenomorfi per catturare una "Regina Madre" - cioè una super-regina capace di regnare su molti nidi diversi - e poi condurla sulla Terra. Il piano prevede che, una volta condotta sul nostro pianeta, la Regina Madre darà ai suoi l'ordine di riunirsi in un punto. E, in quel momento, verranno distrutti con un devastante attacco nucleare. Portare a termine un piano tanto ambizioso, però, comporta enormi rischi e infinite difficoltà.

I only watched Alien + Aliens because I was told I had to watch them before reading this. I've heard much discontent about every film after Aliens so have no interest in watching anything beyond that, but read something? Sure! I'm not sure that I'm a fan of Newt here, and I was a little bit excited

It's just really hard for me to be affected by horror or action in comic book form as opposed to film or even prose. And the dated art styles certainly don't help. At least it's still quite readable, though Earth War felt rushed and a little repetitive.
