Some very good and detailed case studies herein, but some if the simple facts provided, are quite simply wrong. Ganeri should opt for accuracy over making it fun, no doubt it is work like this that so confuses my pupils. Eg. Tidal waves and tsunamis are NOT the same thing. Another hit with the 10 year old—this series seems to know its audience pretty well: curious, likes non-fiction/science, with a strong preference for pee puns and bad jokes :)
