Dopo la pubblicazione in italiano, nel volume Magick, delle prime tre parti dell'opera più importante di Aleister Crowley, quella che egli chiamava "Liber ABA", o "Libro quattro", esce ora la quarta e ultima parte, "L'Equinozio degli Dèi". Essa contiene un resoconto autobiografico di come Crowley pervenne alla ricezione della pietra angolare di Thelema, "Il Libro della Legge", e consegna al lettore una nuova appendice che tratta delle sue implicazioni cosmografiche, etiche e religiose. Oltre al testo de "Il Libro della Legge" e del suo Commento, l'opera comprende la riproduzione del suo manoscritto originale e quella della Stele della Rivelazione. L'introduzione del curatore, Hymenaeus Beta, offre un approfondito apparato critico e storiografico e ricostruisce con dovizia di particolari la ricezione de "Il Libro della Legge" da parte di Aleister Crowley, contestualizzando le vicende biografiche che hanno accompagnato la stesura dei cinque commentari redatti dall'autore, che per oltre vent'anni si impegnò a interpretare quei versi. La presente edizione include aggiunte, correzioni e annotazioni di Crowley rimaste finora inedite in Italia, e attraverso il confronto con i manoscritti originali ripristina svariati passi esclusi dalle edizioni precedenti.

Did not like this book because it Burned After Reading. Had to buy it again and the process repeated in a Ourobourian manner. Now I'm shit broke. At least Nuit is appeased. Fnord.
There were some pretty cool verses in this book. I particularly like how most verses were very poetic, full of depth (even if I couldn't quite grasp it), and flowed nicely. No doubt people without esoteric knowledge will be confused and most likely repelled by this book. But it wasn't written for them. There are books about magick and then there are books that _are_ magick. This is one of the latter. I recommend everyone read it through at least once... Then never trust anyone who wants to speak with you about it. Including me. Seriously.
